Bio My name is Carey I am 28 years old and I am a fighter...I have been fighting a deadly eating disorder for 10 years. It's not something that I am proud that I have, but it's who I have been for the last 10 years. I want recovery more than anything. I have been IP three times and it truly did save my life during the crisis that I was in with my eating disorder. In 2005 I almost died as a direct result to Bulmia. I had severly low potassium, very weak heart, dehyration beyond belief, Anemia, and all the other complications that come with an eating disorder. I was medically hospitalized and then transferred directly to a treatment center. I would not be here today without my treatment team...that's the honest truth. To this day I am currently in a never ending struggle with Anorexia and have recently relapsed. I am doing everything in my power to get better and overcome this deadly disease, but as many know it's always one step forward and two steps back with recovery...My best friend died as a result of Anorexia and I miss her very much. So, I know on the other end of things what it's like to lose someone you care about to eating disorders. I also suffer from Bipolar, Borderline Personality Disorder, OCD, and Anxiety. If you don't have something nice to say then don't say anything at all.
